Dr. Abbate is the best physician I have had the pleasure to get care from. He has called me at my home many times even on Sunday to report to me the results of tests. He is extremely devoted and does not forget your specific problems that other physicians have forgotten in my case file. Excellent physician and office staff. What I like most overall about the practice is that I'm comfortable when I go there. I actually look forward to seeing him. I would recommend this practice to anyone I know. Absolutely terrible bedside manner. Rushed my mother through her appointment for here thyroid. In the middle of her appointment his "nurse" interrupted to tell him his next patient was ready. He rushed the rest of the appointment. She wanted to ask questions about the upcoming procedures and he said "make it quick." Later that day she called to let him know that she is unhappy with the treatment and now he refuses to order her next tests and biopsies. Not the most flowery personality, but he definitely knows what he's doing.
