We have used Murphy's Auto Care Center for several years. I have always been very happy with their service and their rates. Not only are they quick, communicative, friendly but their estimates have always been close to what they end up charging us. I respect the fact that they ask us if we'd like x,y or z and give us the price instead of just finding something that needs done and charging us. I needed an electrical mess fixed and was quoted $150-$600 from three other places. Turns out the problem was simple and Mike got me fixed up for only $50!.. They didn't pick my pockets or jack me around, they just gave me a straight up solution. Super happy with Murphy's Auto and I'll definitely be back and referring people! Pretty disappointed with the other places I went to.. I'm really happy to find that there's still someone honest in town! Thanks again, Murphy's Auto!! - A very happy customer Not happy. My truck needed an intake gasket 3 years ago to Murphy's. This winter my truck threw a code so I took it into Murphy's again. They said it needed another intake gasket. They said "I do a lot of these but never on the same vehicle." The work was done with no idea why it failed. So I have to think they installed faulty parts. The first job cost me $730 and change. Three years later $1100 and change. I questioned them about the increases and received no explanation. I am not happy! Murphys is a great place to get work done. Murphy and his staff are all very friendly and helpful, and will listen to your issues. They work hard and try to get everything done in a timely manner. Mike is a great mechanic and an honest guy. I'd recommend him doing work for you.
