I recently sold a house using my real estate agent from a different company. The buyers used Amy Sirmans from this company. I would be very leary of using this lady. The sale of the house went fine, but when it came time for the new owners pay the early occupancy, which they havent, we tried to reach out to Amy who could not be reached. The new owners where not going to pay, due to some repair issues in which Amy Sirmans should have handled. Instead I have our real estate agent constantly trying to get a hold of her with to no avail. He ended up having to go straight to the owners. Once she got paid she cut off communication. The new owners happened to be her friends too. Be careful if using this lady!! I will shed just a little more on that situation as well. My husband and I have 5 children. We save as much as we can. We wanted a log house with some acreage, and we found it. However, we found out that we couldn't get a loan based off Daniels career (salesman). So we then turned to his retired Army mother for help acquiring the loan, because we liked the house so much. However, as time went on and we found out that her VA lender here in Texas needed additional paperwork to prepare a pre approval, the agent decided that the lender was taking to long and we were somehow at fault for his bank taking too long. Not only that, we cancelled our inspection (on time I might add) due to the fact that a crib septic is NOT able to be financed through the VA, as well as being a VA lender in Texas he could not continue working with us for a house in Alaska, nor get to the number we needed to be at. Three things out of our control and this agency still wanted to steal our money that we have saved for. Apparently, they don't adhere to the laws that govern the state regarding real estate matters such as this. When dealing with earnest monies, it shall be returned to the buyer if they cannot get financed.... it's that simple and it's stated in law. Apparently this agency has no respect for families, or veterans of the United States military. Please do you families a favor and stay far away from these very uneducated, unethical agents. I have bought two homes in my life time... never have I come across such disregard for regulations, or people in general. I don't even think the seller knows what this agency was doing on her behalf.... or putting us through. We are trying to find means to find a house for our family.. it's as ridiculous as stealing money from the poor .... because they can't afford the house you are selling... insane logic. Brittany better go back to school and pick a different profession, you are a devious person. We were looking to purchase a home in Alaska listed by this agent, not only did they lie to us by telling us that a "crib" septic system was VA financable, they then tried to STEAL our hard earned $2,000 worth of earnest money after we came to the conclusion that we could not be financed on that particular home. Citing reasons such as "it took too long" and "the seller had to clean out the basement". This is the most UNETHICAL, and CROOKED business I have ever been around. I hope no one uses them, and if you're stationed in Alaska and reading this, be sure to steer clear of these people and let anyone else in your units know that Re/Max Dynamic of the Valley is not to be trusted. I bought a house a year ago from our real estate agent Bonnie Burkmeister. Overall my first home buying experience was awful. Not only did it take us 3 months to get into our home but our real estate agent rarely ever communicated with us. I will forever remember my first home buying experience being a nightmare. Overall I feel this real estate agent did not work for us but herself and on her own time. I will NEVER BUY another home from Re/max of the Valley and warn all military families to stay clear of this business and their shady agents. Love these people!
