I think they know what they are doing in there but they simply don't call back after saying they will. I think they just need a better internal communication protocol or way of tracking a job status. Count on calling and checking in on your device periodically. Dropped my phone off to be fixed and they said 2-4 days and I could get my phone back, then went in after 4 days and the kid said that he sent my phone to apple and I wouldn't have it back for another 4 days so I went in today to pick my phone up and he said that it's still with apple and he has no clue when I can get it back. Truth is don't trust these guys with your device and do not give your phone to them or pay for "priority" for it to be done faster cuz that's a big lie also
